The Teaching Excellence Center is dedicated to supporting the teaching and learning goals of the Flathead Valley Community College faculty.
Excellent teaching is equal parts intuition, technique, reflection, and practice. Sometimes we can make significant advances in our teaching by making small adjustments in our assessment strategies, by re-thinking how we organize our courses, or by how we set the tone in the classroom. The Teaching Excellence Center has compiled best practices resources to aid in Course Development, Assessment, Student Feedback, and Discussions. The TEC has compiled resources to aid instructors that wish to implement technology into their classrooms.
We are located in LRC 134 and have a collection of teaching and learning resources including books, DVD’s, assessments, handouts and more. Feel free to stop by the Center to use and/or check out these items. We would also appreciate your help in growing the TEC by contributing your resources.
The Center of Instructional Technology website provided instructors D2L Help Documents, video tutorials, and a wealth of resources to support the implementation of technology in the classroom.
