Achieving Purpose, Meaning and Vitality in The Second Half of Life

On Wednesday, November 12, FVCC will host a day-long conference on achieving purpose, meaning and vitality in the second half of life.  This day-long conference explores the relationships between purpose, meaning, vitality, and healthy living and uncovers strategies to enhance those relationships.  Featured speakers include:

  • Richard Bolles, author of What Color is Your Parachute?
  • Richard Leider, author of Something to Live For and founder of The Purpose Project
  • Mary Jo Kreitzer, Director, Center for Spirituality & Healing
  • Harry R. Moody, Director, Academic Affairs for AARP
  • Dan Buettner, explorer, educator and author of The Blue Zone: Lessons for Living Longer from the People Who Live the Longest
  • Joanne Disch, Director, Densford International Center for Nursing Leadership.

Conference Details

  • Check-in will be from 6:45 a.m.-7:00 a.m.
  • The Conference will run from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
  • Live, on-site discussion will be facilitated by Rebecca Johns, CPCC, and Charter Member of the Purpose Guild.
  • Conference fee of $45 includes Continental Breakfast and Lunch.
