Glacier National Park provides "Kodak moment" photo opportunities in some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world. Search for grizzlies, mountain goats, bear grass and glacier lilies, all icons of this Crown of the Continent as you enhance your photo skills. Learn to transfer to film what your eye sees, know when your light meter is lying to you, and how to compensate for it. Field lessons about good composition, which lenses to use, shooting angles, and appropriate shutter speeds.
Two day-long field trips in the park; each includes two to three miles walking with camera gear. Digital equipment welcomed. Three nights in Whitefish; two nights at Many Glacier Lodge in the park, final night back in Whitefish.
