Whitefish Mountain Resort at Big Mountain

Belton Chalet
Belton Chalet, the historic, grand chalet of yesteryear, is located on the western edge of Glacier National Park in West Glacier. Belton was the original Great Northern Chalet and Amtrak still stops there twice a day. Sit back on the deck and enjoy the breath-taking views of Glacier Park or relax by a roaring fire in the beautiful chalet lobby. Double/single occupancy, private baths, with meals and classes provided in same facility. Day field trips into Glacier will include driving the famous Going to the Sun Highway. We will watch for grizzly bears, mountain goats, and pikas as we admire some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. Come let your senses soar and your learning adventure begin.
