Business Resources at FVCC

Our excellent relationship with area businesses and our state-of-the-art facilities means our community has access to a wide variety of FVCC resources.

Post a Job

Discover a rich resource for talented employees at FVCC. Posting your job listings through our online job board puts you in direct contact with a skilled workforce who has close ties to the area. Our students are prepared to make an immediate impact on your workplace, whether they’ve earned a two-year technical degree or a specialized training certificate. Students who earn four-year degrees at other institutions often return to FVCC for career guidance from trusted faculty and advisors.

Student Interns

Our internship program is a win-win for both internship providers and students. Internship providers gain motivated workers mentored by faculty and the opportunity to “try out” potential employees. FVCC students receive academic credit while applying their skills learned in the classroom and gaining practical experience in their field of study.

Workforce Development

We’ll help you achieve specific business goals by custom-designing workforce training for your company or a consolidated group of businesses needing similar services.

Continuing Education

Employees can improve their job skills by participating in a short course. It may be a half-day workshop on improving work habits or specific software training, or it could be a full-day class on fireline safety. We also offer courses to enhance technical skills and online instructor-facilitated courses that last for six weeks.

Our First Interstate Workforce Training Lab is a state-of-the-art computer lab that allows a group of employees to train together. We also have meeting rooms available for your use, and we’ll even host your conference in the FVCC facilities.
