Engage

Thank you to everyone who supports our Festival of Flavors events, Bibler Home and Garden Strolls, and Great Fish Community Challenge campaign. All proceeds from Festival of Flavors and Bibler Home and Garden Strolls directly benefit student scholarships at FVCC.

In 2023, the Foundation awarded over $1.7 million in scholarships to FVCC students.

Festival of Flavors

Festival of Flavors is a series of exciting culinary and wine events that take place across the Flathead Valley throughout the year. All proceeds from these events benefit FVCC student scholarships. Come wine and dine with us.

Bibler Home and Garden Tours

During the spring and summer, experience acres of colorful annuals and perennials in full bloom highlighted by stunning views of the Flathead Valley at the beautiful Bibler Home and Gardens property. Enjoy strolls of the gardens and the home’s exquisite collection of antiques, sculptures and heirloom Persian carpets with all proceeds benefitting student scholarships at FVCC.

Great Fish Community Challenge

The Great Fish Community Challenge is an annual 6-week long charitable giving event each summer benefiting Flathead Valley nonprofits. Each year, the FVCC Foundation participates in raising funds to support scholarships, academic programs, and learning facilities at FVCC.

Innovation Grants

As part of our mission to support programs at FVCC, the Foundation funds innovative projects that promise to improve the student experience through Innovation Grants. All areas of the college are welcome to apply, and collaborative projects between departments, academic divisions, industry partners or community groups are encouraged.

We are offering two (2) grants for up to $10,000 each to provide additional funding for more complex proposals. Remaining proposals will be awarded up to $5,000.

Previously funded projects include:

  • Active Intruder Response Training
  • Campus Farm
  • Electronics, robotics, and 3-D printing technology in the Makerspace
  • Flathead Fungal Diversity mushroom guides for Flathead Valley residents and visitors
  • Northwest Regional App Challenge for girls grades 4-8
