Scholarship Opportunities
Scholarships make a significant difference in the lives of our students as they pursue their academic and career goals, allowing them to concentrate on their studies and helping to alleviate their educational expenses. Scholarship support remains among the top fundraising priorities of the FVCC Foundation.
It’s easy to establish a scholarship fund with the FVCC Foundation. Two types of named scholarships available through the Foundation including:
- Annual Named Scholarships; and
- Endowed Scholarships which require a minimum principal balance of $5,000 before awards are made from the fund’s earnings.
Many ways exist to fund a scholarship including gifts of cash, appreciated securities, bequest, trust, life insurance policy, or retirement funds.
