Whether you’re interested in earning a bachelor’s degree or a Ph.D., Flathead Valley Community College offers a solid foundation to begin your college education. You’re not only laying the groundwork for additional education, you’re preparing for any career you can imagine. We partner with Montana colleges and universities to ensure you get the best possible start to your academic journey, whether that involves a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree.
Transfer Programs.
Our courses and transfer programs are designed so you can apply your credit hours to four-year institutions, not only in the Montana University System, but at other colleges and universities throughout the nation. Our academic catalog explains how various classes transfer to those institutions. As long as you’ve earned a grade “C” or higher, you can seamlessly transfer your credits to any state college in Montana. If you plan to transfer to any other institution in the state or elsewhere in the country, you can work with our transfer advisor to develop a customized plan that meets the school’s requirements. Our curriculum will support your studies in these and other majors.
Associate’s Degree.
Our two-year Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees transfer to Montana state colleges and universities as general education requirements. As long as you’ve received a grade “C” or higher, all of your credit hours will transfer seamlessly, allowing you to continue your studies as a college junior at any institution in the Montana University System.
