Admissions

Students who come to Flathead Valley Community College are looking for something bigger. Something different. Something that will change the rest of their lives.

Our career and technical and transfer programs do just that. From the moment you enroll to the day you graduate, you will experience the kind of personalized instruction, guidance and attention that is hard to match even at small colleges and universities. And you’ll experience it in a natural setting that most schools can’t even imagine.

Some of the other hallmarks of your FVCC experience will be…

Our Faculty
They come from some of the best universities in the country and thrive on close interaction with students. One of our instructors helped organize Dr. Martin Luther King’s march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama. One was a consultant for the CBS hit television series NUMB3RS. One was nominated to be Montana’s poet laureate. And there are countless other examples of excellence.

Our Students
They come from across the state and bring with them interests ranging from natural resources management, to criminal justice, to theatre, to nursing… and pretty much everything in between. Our students enhance each others’ learning experience inside and outside the classroom every day.

Our Results
You will find FVCC graduates holding impressive professional positions, in undergraduate programs at esteemed universities such as Stanford University, and in world-class graduate programs at institutions such as The Johns Hopkins University. In fact, for the past eight years more than 95 percent of all FVCC job-seeking graduates have successfully secured employment upon graduating.
