Admission Requirements

Students applying for admission into The Scholars Program at FVCC are required to demonstrate evidence of academic capability and motivation by providing:

• Application to FVCC (PDF)
• The Scholars Program Application (PDF)
• 600-word essay
• Letter of reference
• Brief statement highlighting academic goals and career plans
• Copy of transcript(s)
• Documentation of one of the following:
  • ACT scores; or
  • SAT scores; or
  • Compass scores

College students transferring to FVCC will be admitted beginning fall semester. 

Applications for fall 2010 are now being accepted. Applications will continue to be accepted until the program is filled and students are encouraged to submit applications as soon as possible.  The application will not be considered complete untill all documents have been received by the Admissions and Records Office, located in Blake Hall, room 111.  College students transferring to FVCC will be admitted beginning fall semester.  Interviews may be requested.
