The Scholars Program

The Scholars Program at Flathead Valley Community College provides an opportunity for highly motivated students to experience academically rigorous cross-disciplinary honors colloquia. The seminar style classes present students a more extensive perspective on topics by incorporating two or more disciplines.

The Scholars Program provides academic preparation and curriculum planning to help students succeed in transferring to prestigious programs to complete four-year degrees.  The program is designed to provide scholars with a seamless transition to either the Davidson Honors College at The University of Montana or the University Honors Program at Montana State University.  Class sizes are limited to 20 students creating a unique learning community enriched in a specially designed classroom environment.

Applications are now being accepted for Fall 2010.  The application deadline is April 26.
