Italian 1 and Italian 2

Three credits each

Level 1:  Monday, January 31 - Friday, Februar 25
Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (First day will begin at 8:45 a.m.)
Level 2*:  Monday, February 28 – Friday, March 25 
Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
 *Plus twice per week minimum off-site cultural activities through Istituto Venezia.  Tours will be conducted in Italian.

Course Description
The primary goal of the course is to bring students directly in touch with the language and culture of contemporary Italy. The course format and structure will enable students to acquire solid grammar and conversational skills but also get acquainted with the Italian culture.
