Learning at Flathead Valley Community College improves and enriches your life. We offer so much more than transfer degrees and technical programs. We’re focused on improving our community, developing economic opportunities, and offering personal enrichment and skill-building classes. Students of every age converge on the campus at FVCC!

What are some of FVCC’s non-traditional educational opportunities?

  • Educators can earn teacher renewal unitsTeachers Recertification through specialized workshops.
  • Older adults continue challenging themselves in exercise, art, history, foreign language classes and so much more through our Senior Institute and Road Scholar programs. It’s a great way to socialize with longtime friends and develop new ones.
  • Children come to campus to attend Galapagos Island Adventure, African Safari, Space Camp and Science Exploration and so much more during FVCC's summer Kid’s College.
  • High school students enjoy advanced coursework through the Running Start program, where they can earn dual high school and college credit for FVCC classes.
  • College students take learning outside the classroom through service learning, allowing them to apply classroom theories to real-world scenarios while helping members of the local community.
  • Adults interested in refocusing their careers or honing their employment skills will find abundant opportunities through workforce training, community education classes, and GED/adult basic education.
