This year, FVCC celebrates 40 years of lifelong learning.  We launched our anniversary with the opening of three new buildings—Occupational Trades Building, Arts and Technology Building and Early Childhood Education and Care Center.  These new facilities provide students state-of-the-art training environments and will enable FVCC to continue to grow.  

At FVCC, students come first.  We offer countless opportunities for all students who are college bound or want to train for new careers.  Students can complete two-year associate degrees or general education classes and transfer easily to in-state or out-of-state four-year colleges and universities without owing costly student loans.  FVCC also offers nearly 50 career and technical programs that prepare students to enter rewarding careers immediately following graduation.  We have a solid record of producing successful job-seeking graduates.  For eight consecutive years, over 95
percent of our job-seeking graduates have successfully secured employment.

FVCC provides students with the convenience of learning anywhere and anytime through online classes.  We offer diverse financial aid packages and scholarship opportunities to help students fund their futures.  With our excellent support services, small class sizes and highly-qualified faculty, we all work together to contribute to our students’ successes.

Our Continuing Education Center offers a wide range of educational and enrichment classes ranging from arts and crafts, dance and cooking to home and garden, language and computers for all interests.  The Center also offers special programs, such as Kid’s College and Elderhostel, for all ages as well as customized workforce training for area businesses.
