Vision
EyeMed Vision Care is the vision plan provider for the MUS Choices Benefit Plan. The plan is designed to cover an annual eye exam, frames every 24 months, and corrective lenses every 12 months. It offers some discounts for eyewear purchased from network providers. The rates are as following:
- $7.64 a month for the member
- $14.42 for a couple
- $15.18 for a member and children
- $22.26 for a family
The plan is completely optional and available to retirees, but you should not automatically sign up. Assess your family’s vision health and recent costs and do the math. You may be better off on your own and using alternate providers for your eyewear.
