Delta Dental is the provider for the MUS Choices Dental Plan. This plan pays on a scheduled basis. You can get an estimate from your dentist, look a the reimbursement schedules from Delta Dental, and calculate your out of pocket costs. The basic plan covers only preventative services (cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatments, etc.) at approximately 100%. The Premium Plan, in addition to the preventative coverage, reimburses 80% of simple restorations (fillings) and 50% of complex restorations (root canals, crowns, bridges, etc). Orthodontics is capped at $1500 per individual lifetime and every individual on the plan has a $1500 annual maximum.
