Nestled into the magnificent mountains in Northwest Montana, Lincoln County is the home of natural wonder that is virtually unmatched. Here, the woods are deeper and the world more natural than anywhere you’ve ever been.  Water, wildlife and mountains present you with a natural arena to enjoy the slower pace of living here in beautiful Lincoln County. Home of the FVCC satellite campus in Libby, the college is surrounded by the breathtaking Cabinet mountains, majestic Koocanusa Reservoir and sparkling alpine lakes.
 
Communities.

Libby is home to several quaint retail shops and businesses.  Along with Eureka, our neighbor to the north, it hosts many opportunities for businesses to build and thrive in the Northwest.  Troy, nestled in the valley, is an amazing place to call home also.  No matter which community you choose to reside, Lincoln County is full of friendly faces and welcomes everyone like family. Culture.
Festivals, carnivals, performing arts, music, museums and rodeo just scratch the surface of the many events that our area offers. From picnics at Shakespeare in the Park or lush seating at our performing arts center, the culture here is just as rich, rare and remote as the area itself.
 
Dining.
Whether it is a burger and fries you are craving or a well cooked steak with all the trimmings, dining choices are abundant here. From fun little coffee shops to fancy dining, we have it all. 
 
Nature.
Fishing, hiking, biking, hunting, ATVing, snowmobiling or just a scenic drive thru the mountains,  Lincoln County is the place to be.  Outdoor recreation runs wild here and the sky is the limit.  Take a stroll thru Ross Creek Cedars and stare in awe at the nature that surrounds you and has with stood time.  Or stand on the swinging bridge and listen to the wonderous roar of the Kootenai Falls below you.  A nice day on the lake is always an option with so many crystal clear waters to choose from.  No matter what the season, you’ll never forget your time spent here.  You’ll find it quiet, comfortable and friendly.  This is a place to relax, enjoy and rejoice in.
