Fall semester classes at Flathead Valley Community College begin August 27. However, students have until August 31 at 5 p.m. to apply to the college, be accepted and register for classes that run the entire semester.
The college also is offering a number of short and late-starting classes this fall. Students can register for those classes after August 31.
In order to register, each degree-seeking student is required to have a completed admissions file which includes a completed application, high school transcripts and college transcripts if applicable and proof of two measles, mumps and rubella immunizations. The application may be completed on the college’s website at no cost, or a paper application may be completed for a $15 fee. Degree-seeking students also are required to complete the COMPASS placement test and meet with an advisor prior to registering for courses. Non-degree seeking students are subject to different admissions requirements.
The complete schedule of fall semester credit classes is available online at www.fvcc.edu. For application and registration assistance, visit the Admissions and Registration Office in Blake Hall Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or call 756-3848.
