Flathead Valley Community College will launch its Session B summer courses July 9 offering college students the opportunity to earn college credit in five weeks.
Course registration is open to new and returning students. Courses that will be offered include Geography of World Regions; Geography of Northwest Montana; American History II; Montana Indians: Culture, History and Current Issues; Introduction to American Government; and Introduction to Sociology. In order to register, each degree-seeking student is required to have a complete admissions file which includes a completed application form with a $15 application payment, high school transcripts and college transcripts if applicable and proof of two measles, mumps and rubella immunizations. Degree-seeking students are required to complete the COMPASS placement test prior to registering for classes. Non-degree seeking students are subject to different admissions requirements.
Students with completed admissions files can register online on the college’s website. Others can register in the college’s Admissions Office in Blake Hall Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
