Flathead Valley Community College’s Multicultural Affairs Office will welcome Tibetan Buddhist Lama Tulku Tsori Rinpoche to campus to deliver a free presentation for the community May 22.
Rinpoche will discuss how to incorporate compassion and wisdom into the fast-paced, modern western culture using ancient traditional teachings that help cultivate a peaceful mind and enhance overall health and well-being.
Rinpoche travels the world offering teachings, workshops, ceremonies, and private consultation. Audiences are drawn to his public appearances for his transformational, enlightening effect and hopeful spiritual message during turbulent times. Rinpoche oversees several charitable missions including a children’s monastery in central India, raises orphaned Tibetan refugee children, and has established programs providing medical assistance to extremely destitute Tibetans living in exile.
The presentation will take place at 6 p.m. in room 144 inside the Arts and Technology Building. For more information, contact FVCC Multicultural Affairs Coordinator Mick Stemborski at 756-3945 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
