Flathead Valley Community College is offering a variety of short-term interim session courses. The courses will give area residents and college students home for summer break an opportunity to earn college credits in as little as two weeks instead of a traditional semester.
Courses that will meet May 14 through May 25 include Basic Physical Science and Life Drawing Workshop.
The following interim session courses will meet May 14 through June 1: Human Relations in Business, Interpersonal Relations/Communications, Introduction to Business Writing, Introduction to Philosophy, Introduction to Psychology, Math for the Liberal Arts, and Poetry.
Human Anatomy & Physiology 1 will meet May 14 through June 21.
In addition, the college will offer the following online interim session courses: Cash Flow Analysis, Discover Biology, Personal Finance, Principles of Finance, Small Business Budgeting, and Understanding Financial Statements.
Students with completed admissions files can register online on the college’s website. Others can register in the college’s Admissions Office in Blake Hall Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through May 11. Students are encouraged to register for courses early as they fill on a first-come, first-served basis.
Degree-seeking students are required to meet with an advisor prior to registering for classes.
