FVCC Offers Non-credit Course on Native American Spirituality

Flathead Valley Community College will offer a non-credit course on Native American spirituality beginning July 12. 

Instructed by archaeologist and FVCC anthropology and archeology instructor Dr. E.B. Eiselein, the course will provide an overview of Native American spiritual beliefs and practices, including the vision quest, Sun Dance, sweat lodge and movements inspired by nineteenth and twentieth century prophets.  The role of guardian spirits in animalistic religious tradition also will be discussed.
