FVCC and Ewam Garden Host Birthday Recognition Event for Dalai Lama

The Flathead Valley Community College Multicultural Affairs Office and the Ewam Garden of 1,000 Buddhas will present a recognition of the birthday of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet at the college July 6.  Free and open to the community, the event will provide guests the opportunity to learn about the Flathead Valley’s neighboring Buddhist Center in Arlee and the Buddhist culture in Montana.

The event will feature live Buddhist music by Joan Zen and Ani Tsering Wangmo, cake and refreshments and a raffle for a Tibetan Thangka.  A special announcement will be made at the event revealing an extraordinary event coming to the Ewam Garden. 

The event will take place 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the large community meeting room inside the Arts and Technology Building on the FVCC campus.
