Don’t miss your chance to experience a beautiful summer evening surrounded by acres of colorful annuals and perennials in full bloom highlighted by stunning views of the Flathead Valley. The Flathead Valley Community College Foundation will host summer tours of the Bibler Home and Gardens the last week in July.
The tours will be introduced with a special kick-off reception July 25 featuring a wine reception with light hors d’oeuvres prepared by FVCC culinary arts students and instructor Chef Howard Karp. The head gardener will provide a brief overview of the gardens’ history, successes and learning lessons, and additional Bibler Gardens staff will be on hand to answer questions. Guests will experience the newly landscaped upper pond area providing better access to the swans and will enjoy new open vistas providing more spectacular views of the Flathead Valley.
The kick-off event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $50 for adults and $90 per couple and must be purchased in advance. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to attend.
Proceeds from the kick-off reception and all tours will benefit the scholarship program at Flathead Valley Community College.
